YOU KNOW SOMETIMES you read something that sounds like it’s straight out of a rom-com?
This is one of those stories.
Back in 1987, a man from England Michael Brown and a woman from Milltown, Co. Galway named Marie Simpson were to get engaged and married. Unfortunately, they lost touch and it wasn’t to be.
But with the help of technology, they recently got talking and reconnected, and on Friday, Michael flew in from Manchester to meet Marie at Knock Airport where they were reunited at last.
Knock Airport was on hand to capture the wonderful moment and wrote, “We wish them both continued happiness and were glad to be part of their special reunion.”
